Jake earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®) designation and has completed the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management Executive Education Program at The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. In 2016, Jake
was featured in Ingram’s Magazine’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list. He was also listed in the Forbes 2018 & 2019 list of America’s Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors.
In his free time Jake enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events, and traveling with his wife Rachel.
Cory has spent his entire professional career dedicated to financial planning and asset management. His personal relationships allow him to help guide clients towards their
retirement goals with careful planning and attention to investment details.
Cory works with clients to create and implement comprehensive, goals driven financial plans and investment strategies. He is also responsible for the professional development of team members and maintaining a client centric environment.
Cory graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Missouri. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®) designation and has completed the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management Executive Education Program at The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. In 2014, Cory was recognized
as one of Ingram’s Magazine’s exclusive “20 in their Twenties” honoring outstanding, young entrepreneurs in the Kansas City area.
In his free time, Cory enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time with his wife Cassie.
Samantha and Jake have worked together for over ten years, her primary role is ensuring every client receives an excellent experience when working with our team. She is responsible
for onboarding new clients as well as helping current clients understand their account statements, take distributions, rollover and transfer funds, and other administrative tasks. Samantha also works directly with our custodian, Charles Schwab, as our client liaison. She is also responsible for mentoring and training new client service team members.
Samantha earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a Minor in Economics from Park University. She also maintains her Series 7 General Securities and Series 66 NASAA Uniform Combined State Law licenses.
In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors in her home town of Carrollton, Missouri, and spending time with her husband, Jimmy, and their twins, Jackson and Ava.
By working in the Wealth Management division of Falcon Wealth Advisors, James area of focus includes client service, financial planning, and investment management. He is committed to maintaining and strengthening client relationships as well as developing new ones. James’ primary responsibility is ensuring clients receive a personalized, comprehensive wealth management experience.
James earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Philosophy with an emphasis in Ethics from Westminster College. He has also completed the Financial Planning Certificate Program through Bryant University's Executive Development Center. After completing the program, James went on to obtain one of the highest designations in the
financial planning field, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2019. Studying for over 265 hours, James passed the exam in July and acquired the CFP® mark shortly after. James maintains his Series 7 General Securities and Series 66 NASAA Uniform Combined State Law licenses.
In his free time, James enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Sporting Kansas City games, traveling, and cooking. In addition, in 2015 James was an Escort in the Belles of the American Royal.
Maddie is responsible for preparing and updating financial plans, performance reports, and other Falcon Wealth Advisors collateral for client meetings. She furthers her education by
learning more about latest trends and improvements in financial planning software. She also helps our clients access their account information through their online portal.
Maddie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication from the University of Kansas. Maddie also maintains the Financial Planning For Qualified Professionals (FPQP™) designation.
In her free time, Maddie enjoys exercising, watching KU Basketball games, and spending time with her husband Brad.
As a Client Service Associate, Abby is responsible for onboarding new clients as well as helping current clients understand their account statements, take distributions, and rollover and transfer funds. Her responsibilities also include ordering office supplies and other supporting administrative roles.
Abby earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Liberty University. Abby also maintains her Series 7 General Securities and Series 66 NASAA Uniform Combined State Law licenses.
In her free time, Abby enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband Trey.
Matt is responsible for identifying tax planning opportunities for our clients. He evaluates the details of each financial plan to maximize the tax efficiency. This helps separate our practice from others as he identifies strategies other financial planners may overlook.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Kansas. Matt also holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. He was recently awarded the only nationally recognized tax designation, CTS™ (Certified Tax Specialist™). This designation focuses on personal income taxes and methods to reduce tax liability.
In his free time, Matt enjoys playing golf, fishing and keeping up with the Kansas Jayhawks.
Matthew is responsible for researching stocks and bonds, as well as keeping up to date with the current positions in our portfolio. His role also involves tracking the performance and allocations of our portfolio.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Business Analytics from the University of Kansas. Matthew holds his Series 7 & 66 licenses.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and going to the lake.
