"Founded in 1956, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is a ministry of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. Our purpose is to animate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by putting love into action through specialized programs and services for those in need. Staff and volunteers embrace the broadest definition of "who is our neighbor", serving not only the Catholic community but all faiths across 21 counties in Northeast Kansas."

Cerner Charitable Foundation

Cerner Charitable Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) here in Kansas City that provides domestic and global funding to give our communities children a chance to live a better life. They provide funding for individual children with health-related needs when insurance and other financial resources have been exhausted.

In 1995, Jeanne, Neal and Cliff founded First Hand to fill the gaps in health care for children. As Cerner has evolved, so has the foundation into health and wellness programming. What started with one child has grown into a foundation that is changing the lives of over 300,000 children, families and communities worldwide.
